The Barrie Colts continue their winning streak with a 7-4 win over the Kitchener Rangers.
Jeff Skinner found a wide open space in the Colts net at the 7:23 mark to put Kitchener up 1-0. Andrew Crescenzi scored his third goal of the season to increase the Rangers lead to 2-0. Barrie replied with three goals in less than five minutes to close out first period scoring 3-2 for the Colts.
Top Rangers point scorer Chris MacKinnon beat Colts goaltender Peter Di Salvo at 4:50 of the second period to tie the game 3-3. Barrie's Darren Archibald answered back with an un-assisted goal at the 17:25 mark to once again put the Colts up by one.
Alex Hutching scored a shorthanded goal at 4:35 of the third period, his second goal of the game to put Barrie up 5-3. Skinner put the Rangers within one after scoring on the Rangers power play at the 7:42 mark. The Colts were back up by two after Hutchings netted his third goal of the game at 11:41. Luke Pither closed out the scoring in the game with 1:15 left on the clock.
