Colts Celebrity Game This Saturday

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today their final list of players that will participate in the Barrie Colts Celebrity Game at the 2011 CBC Play On Street Hockey Tournament.

The tournament takes place June 11th and 12th on the streets of downtown Barrie. The Barrie Colts celebrity game will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 12:00 p.m.

Heading up the list of Barrie players that will be participating in the street hockey game is first overall pick from the Ontario Hockey League priority selection defenceman Aaron Ekblad.

Joining the 15-year old Ekblad is defenceman Norm Ezekiel, forward Dylan Smoskowitz, goalie John Chartrand and assistant coach Todd Miller.

Also playing in the celebrity game is Stanley Cup winner Ric Jackman, and Craig Ripley from Simcoe County Sports.

Barrie Colts mascot Charlie Horse will be making special appearances throughout the weekend, and fans are encouraged to come to the Barrie Colts booth for information on the Barrie Colts Hockey School and season ticket packages.
