The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club will be hosting the 11th Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, August 30th at Whistle Bear Golf Club.
Each year, the annual charity golf event has attracted many current and former Kitchener Rangers and National Hockey League alumni in addition to other local celebrities.
In the past five years, the event has raised in excess of $75,000 for various local charities. This year, all proceeds will be donated to HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Since 1995, people with cancer in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and the surrounding area, have found inspiration, information and empowerment at HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre. Their programs and services are confidential, free of charge and open to people at all stages of treatment. Join the excitement as we get set to prepare for another great day at the 2011 Kitchener Rangers Celebrity Golf Classic at the prestigious Whistle Bear Golf Club.
Whistle Bear Golf Club is located on Dickie Settlement Road in Cambridge; this golf course is sure to excite the golfer and naturalist in you!
