Colts and Prairie Dogs Rained Out

San Angelo, Texas --- Tonight's game between the Colts and the Abilene Prairie Dogs has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday at Foster Field beginning at 5:05 p.m.

The game got rained out in the top of the first with two outs and the bases empty, and it will resume from that point on Sunday. It will be a full nine inning game, and game two will be seven innings.

Gates open at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, and it is free admission for all fans, courtesy of WTU. It will also be a Grand Slam Sunday, sponsored by Fiddlestrings. One lucky fan will win a 47" HDTV, courtesy of Fiddlestrings. You must be present to claim your prize, and you must also fill out your information sheet correctly.

This series continues tomorrow night at Walt Driggers Field in Abilene. Colts' fans can purchase tickets to the game and caravan up to Abilene from Foster Field at 4:30 p.m. Gates open at Walt Driggers Field at 6:05 p.m., and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

San Angelo's next home game is Saturday against the Prairie Dogs. It will be Negro League Appreciation Night and Dr Pepper Giveaway Night, sponsored by Dr Pepper. Several former Negro League players will be at Foster Field, and all fans will receive a free Dr Pepper when leaving the game.

The Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 13th season. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
