Like Gaines, Romero will contribute to the Colts' bullpen. He resides in Jemez, NM.

To make room the Colts released RHP Patrick Lawler, RHP Efrain Silva, and RHP Wesley Clingman. Lawler had been a starter for the Colts, while Silva and Clingman both worked out of the pen.
