
Colts Add Defenseman Chris Buonomo

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that they have acquired defenseman Chris Buonomo from the Peterborough Petes.
Buonomo has spent three seasons with Peterborough and had played 14 games for the Petes this season, before joining Barrie on Thursday.
The Colts also get a fifth round draft pick in 2011 from the Petes, a pick that originally belonged to the Guelph Storm.
In exchange the Colts send Peterborough a 4th round draft pick in 2013 and a tenth round selection in 2011.
In 86 career games in the OHL Buonomo has 12 points and 170 penalty minutes.
Barrie hosts the Sudbury Wolves tonight at the Barrie Molson Centre, 7:35 p.m.
