San Angelo Colts News Release

San Angelo, Texas --- The Colts announced Monday they have activated infielder Danny Hernandez, and placed fellow infielder Ryan Hutson on the Inactive List.

Hernandez went on the Inactive List on July 1 due to a knee injury he sustained on June 28 against the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. Hernandez made his return to the lineup in yesterday's doubleheader against the Abilene Prairie Dogs.

He went 3-for-6 last night with an RBI and two runs scored. Hernandez is now batting .122 with an RBI in 12 games this season.

Hutson goes on the Inactive List with a hamstring injury he sustained while running to first base in Saturday's game against Abilene. The injury occurred in the bottom of the seventh, and Hutson left the game in the next half-inning.

Hutson signed with the Colts on July 1 when Hernandez went inactive. Hutson is batting .276 with 11 RBIs in 26 games.

The Colts and Prairie Dogs conclude their eight-game series tonight at Foster Field. It is Haircuts at the Ballpark Night, sponsored by SportClips. For only $5, you can get your hair cut at Foster Field, thanks to SportClips. All the money made goes directly to charity. Gates open at 6:05 p.m., and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

The Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 13th season. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
