
Colorado Rapids Acquire First-Round Pick, 2025 MLS SuperDraft Natural Third-Round Pick and GAM in Exchange for Midfielder Ralph Priso

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The Colorado Rapids announced today that the club has acquired the later of Vancouver Whitecap's current two first-round selections and their natural third-round selection in the MLS SuperDraft 2025, along with up to $150,000 in conditional 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM), in exchange for midfielder Ralph Priso.
Priso, 21, joined the Rapids via trade with Toronto FC in July 2022 and went on to make 32 regular season appearances, delivering a pair of assists, in his time with Colorado.
"We want to thank Ralph for his work and commitment to our club during his time with the club and wish him all the best in this next stage of his career," said Colorado Rapids Sporting Director Fran Taylor.
If Priso is loaned or transferred outside of MLS, Colorado will retain a percentage of the fee. The later 2025 First-Round pick will be either Vancouver or LAFC's natural selection.
TRANSACTION: The Colorado Rapids acquire a first-round pick and natural third-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, as well as up to $150,000 in conditional GAM from the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for midfielder Ralph Priso, on March 12, 2024.
