Bismarck, ND - The Colorado Ice Indoor Football team is conducting an open tryout on Saturday, January 31, 2009 in Bismarck, North Dakota at the Four Seasons Golf Dome.
The Colorado Ice have had good luck in the past with finding talented players from the Dakotas area, making the distance traveled all worth the while. Head Coach Collins Sanders stated, "In the past, we have signed some very talented players from the Dakotas region. The area is a football power-house, and we hope to tap into our resources there and find a few gems for our upcoming season."
The Ice will be conducting a combine-style tryout with height, weight, 40 yard dash, 225 bench x reps, vertical jump, and pro agility (right and left) tested. Additional position-specific drills will be conducted. Proper athletic attire is required. No cleats or spikes of any type will be allowed. Registration fees are $45 for pre-registered participants and $55 the day of the tryout. Pre-registered participants may pay with check or credit card, same day walk-up registration is cash only. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited.
The Four Seasons Golf Dome is located at the Pebble Creek Golf Course at 2525 North 19th Street, Bismarck, ND.
