Cobras Unveil Redesigned Uniforms

The Cobras will introduce new-look home and away jerseys and helmets for the 2004 season for the first time during Saturday's Fang Fest event.

The free event will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Coliseum and will allow fans to get an up-close and personal look at the 2004 Cobras.

The official unveiling of the Cobras new, redesigned uniforms will highlight the day's festivities, which will also include the introduction of the 2004 roster and coaching staff. Fox 18 personalities Ari Bergeron and Mark Mathis will be on hand throughout the event.

Fang Fest will begin with an open team practice, followed by an autograph session with the entire Cobras squad. Players will later take the field to toss passes and kick field goals with all fans in attendance. The Cobras will also offer locker room tours and AFL 101 classes with Cobras Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator John Gregory during the event.

To cap off the day's events, the Cobras official dance team, the Snake Charmers, and mascot, King Cobra, will be on hand to entertain, and fans will be treated with the interactive QB Challenge and a Book Fair, held by Borders Bookstore.
