
Cobras Sign Rookie WR Sam Boyd

Carolina Cobras News Release
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of WR Sam Boyd for the 2020 season.
Sam Boyd (6' 4" 250 St Augustine University) was a two-year starter for St Augustine at WR. In those two seasons he amassed 85 receptions for 1,046 yards and 16 TDs. He was a two-time HBCU All-American as well, he led the team in receptions and TDs both seasons he played. He was with the Cobras during training camp last season.
Coach Resignalo said "Sam is a physical WR. Is a big play WR who will go up and get the ball. We look forward to see what he can do knowing what to expect in the arena game this time around."
When asked about coming to the Cobras Boyd said, "I'm ready to work and get back to Cobras winning ways!"
