Carolina Cobras News Release
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of OL Wesley Hooks for the 2020 season.
Wesley Hooks (6' 2" 310 Tarleton State) initially played 14 games at Arkansas Tech before transferring to Tarleton State for his final season where he played in 12 games on the offensive line. He can play multiple positions on the line so that versatility will come in very handy this season. He was on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and was the first recipient of the Ronnie Giles Memorial Scholarship in Tarleton's history. Thanks to his work on the line the offense had almost 4,500 yards of total offense in just 12 games, and that included 2,868 yards passing.
Coach Resignalo said "Wesley is going to be a problem for D-Linemen, and I am excited to have him in a Cobras uniform"
Hooks had this to say about joining the Cobras "I am just excited for the opportunity and glad that the Cobras gave me this opportunity for more film, production, experience and growth."
