GREENSBORO - The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of defensive lineman / linebacker Rodderick Darden for his first season with the Carolina Cobras.
Rodderick Darden (6'1, 240) last signed with the Oakland Panthers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). Darden joined the IFL as a defensive lineman / linebacker in 2020. Prior to the IFL, Darden was an undrafted free agent that worked out with the Cincinnati Bengals shortly after his college career.
Darden played for Thomas More University an NAIA college in Crestview, KY. During his time with the Saints he played 43 games for Thomas More on the defensive line. He had a career total 96 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. He earned All-PAC honors his senior year playing all games his junior & senior year.
Rodderick Darden is from Conyers, GA he played for Heritage high school where he played two years on varsity and was a defensive team captain by his senior year.
