Carolina Cobras News Release
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of DL Ethan Farmer for the 2020 season.
Ethan Farmer (6' 3" 295, University of North Carolina) was a four-year player in Chapel Hill and a starter in his last two years, and had 91 tackles, 9.5 for a loss and 2.5 sacks to go along with a forced fumble playing DT for the Tarheels. After college he was with the Seattle Seahawks for rookie camp. Then he spent a short time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, before signing and playing with the High Country Grizzlies in 2017 and 2018, and played last year for the Carolina Havoc.
Coach Resignalo said, "Ethan Farmer is a great athlete for his size. Ethan played DL for me in 2017 which was the first year of the NAL. Ethan has spent some time in the NFL and knows what it takes to be there. This is his year to show why he deserves a shot to get back to the league. He was a top DL during his time at UNC and he can play at a high level. Ethan is primed to have a big season in 2020."
