Coats Advance: Delaware Beats Capital City, Heads to Eastern Confernce Final

WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats defeated the Capital City Go-Go, 104-99, to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2023 NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel. Delaware has reached the Conference Final for the third consecutive year, having won the pennant in both 2021 and 2022. The Blue Coats await the result of Friday's Eastern Semifinals matchup between Long Island and Cleveland.

Jaden Springer scored 24 points, six rebounds and three steals to lead the way for the Coats. Mac McClung poured in 20 points and pulled down five boards, while Michael Foster Jr. (16), Louis King (14) and Braxton Key (12) rounded out the scoring.

The Blue Coats had 19 steals as a team, with three players tallying three swipes, including King, Springer, and Justin Smith. Delaware had 21 fast-break points and shot 45-percent from the field. Capital City was lead by Jules Bernard with 25 points.
