Calgary Roughnecks News Release
A limited number of cut-price tickets for Calgary Roughnecks home games went on sale today (Monday, January 19) at all Calgary area Co-op stores
Seats in the 'Breakaway Zone' cost only $10 apiece and can be picked up at the Co-op's customer service departments.
These tickets cannot be bought elsewhere, including the Roughnecks office, the Saddledome or Ticketmaster.
The Roughnecks and Co-op have set aside 900 seats in Sections 204, 205 and 206 for the program.
"Interest in the 'Breakaway Zone' is high," Roughnecks Vice-President Bill Cragg said Monday, "and we expect those seats to go very quickly. In fact, I understand they are already going fast."
Cragg emphasised the $10 special will not be available at the Saddledome box office on game days.
"If you don't buy it at Co-op," said Cragg, "you can't buy it at all."
The tickets are rush general admission.
