Club Deportivo Guadalajara Announces Roster to Face Sporting Kansas City

KANSAS CITY (Friday, October 7, 2011) - Club Deportivo Guadalajara announced today their roster for their upcoming international friendly against Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, Kansas City, Kansas on Wednesday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Chivas head coach Fernando Quirarte heads to Kansas City with a veteran roster highlighted by Guadalajara defenders Héctor Reynoso and Jonny Magall�n, andforwards Alberto Medina and Omar Arellano. The all-Mexican roster also includes talented young players such as defender Edgar Mejía, midfielder Marco Fabian and forward Carlos Fierro, who was a member of the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cupchampion Mexican National Team.

CD Guadalajara is one of the most successful and popular teams in Mexico with 11 Primera Divisi�n league titles to their name. This match will mark the first time the legendary Mexican striker Omar Bravo will face his former team with Sporting KC. Bravo, second on CD Guadalajara's all-time goal scoring list, will look to lead Sporting KC to a victory against the team in which he established himself as one of the most dangerous Mexican strikers. This will be the second time CD Guadalajara plays a match in Kansas City with the first one being a 2-1 victory over their eternal rivals Club America.
