ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (6-5), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, fall to the Austin Spurs (3-6), 100-108, on Friday night.
Brandon Boston (8-25 FGM) and Xavier Moon (10-19 FGM) each recorded 22 points on the night to the lead the Clippers' efforts. Two-way player Moses Brown, in his first game with Ontario this season, added a 11-point, 18-rebound double-double.
Dominick Brown led the Spurs with a double-double of 23 points (9-19 FGM) and 10 rebounds. Alize Johnson added 18 points (7-10 FGM) off the Austin bench.
The game was back and forth, featuring 26 lead changes and 11 ties. The Clippers led by as much as eight in the third quarter, but Austin ran away with it, sealing the victory with a late 11-2 run.
Next up, the Clippers look split back-to-back against the Spurs on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 pm PST inside the H-E-B Center.
