November 23, 2022 - NBA G League (G League)
Ontario Clippers News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (8-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, win their eight consecutive game, defeating the G League Ignite (3-6), 101-88, in the tail end of a back-to-back at Toyota Arena on Tuesday night.
Keaton Wallace led all scorers with 21 points for Ontario. Moussa Diabate added a double-double for the third time in as many games, recording 20 points and 14 rebounds in the winning effort.
Ignite were led by Eric Mika's 14-point, 10-rebound double-double. Cameron Young led the Ignite reserves with 12 points off the bench.
Trailing only in the opening seconds after the Ignite scored the first bucket of the game, the Clippers held the advantage for nearly all 48 minutes of the game. The Ignite were able to even up the score early in the third but Ontario quickly regained the advantage and finished the quarter with a double-digit lead.
Turnovers were the difference tonight, as 18 Ignite turnovers led to 21 points for the Clippers while Ontario conceded only eight points on nine turnovers.
Next up, the Clippers look to keep the streak rolling after Thanksgiving weekend, hosting the Oklahoma City Blue on Monday, November 28. The ballgame tips off at 7 p.m. PST inside Toyota Arena.
