(Charleston-SC) â Stars of Circus Flora, the European-style one-ring circus in town for Spoleto Festival USA will perform at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park Friday, May 16 when the RiverDogs take on the Lakewood BlueClaws at 7:05 pm.
The World Famous Flying Wallendas will be on hand along with Nino the Clown and jugglers Yo-Yo and Hovey.
Fans will be asked to participate in the festivities with a tight-rope act located in the stands behind home plate and other surprises throughout the night.
The first 50 people through the gate Friday will receive a pair of tickets to a Circus Flora performance. The renowned circus company is in town for 17 shows at Ansonborough Fields from May 23-June 1.
Those in attendance Friday will also have the chance to receive official Spoleto merchandise as they are entertained by the shenanigans of Johnny Peers and his Muttsville Comic as well as Mako Oliveras and his second-place RiverDogs.
Nino the Clown will lead the crowd in the Lowcountry's largest meditation to welcome back former RiverDogs manager Buddy Biancalana (now with the BlueClaws) and his unconventional managerial style.
Sprint Friday Fireworks will cap off the night in grand style.

Game time Friday is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
