Oshawa Generals News Release
Earlier today the OHL announced their roster for the CIBC Canada/ Russia Super Series which included Oshawa Generals Captain Anthony Cirelli and Assistant Captain Mitchell Vande Sompel.
This will be Vande Sompel second straight year representing the OHL in the tournament and Cirelli's first time representing the OHL due to an injury that kept him from playing in last year's series. Both Vande Sompel and Cirelli have had impressive starts to the season and will look to continue that success in the Super Series in November.
"It's no surprise that our two best players are getting this opportunity. They 're two elite players in the league and we're proud to have them representing the Oshawa Generals." Said Roger Hunt Vice President and General Manager of the Oshawa Generals.
Vande Sompel and Cirelli will represent the OHL in Game 3 of the Series in North Bay on November 10th. Puck Drops at 7:00pm
