Charlottetown Islanders News Release

The Charlottetown Islanders are excited to partner with Q93 and CFCY on their Christmas Miracle Toy Drive in support of Santa's Angels. With over 2,100 people visited last year on the Island, and over 1,000 food boxes and personal care packages delivered, we can make a huge difference in a family's holiday this year.

"Nothing is more rewarding than bringing a smile to a child's face on Christmas morning," said James Goudreau, General Manager for Q93 and CFCY.

During the Islanders home game on December 17th, you can drop off a new unwrapped toy, or make a tax-deductible cash donation to one of Santa's Angels volunteers in the Eastlink Centre lobby. If you can't make the game and want to contribute, you can visit any Credit Union on the Island, or make a toy drop-off at any Discounters location.

"This year, more than ever, we can exemplify the kindness that makes Islanders unique," said Jason MacLean, VP of Sales for the Charlottetown Islanders. "We are excited to partner with Q93, CFCY and Santa's Angels to help make this the most successful Christmas Miracle Toy Drive to date."

The Islanders welcome the Cape Breton Eagles to the Eastlink Centre this week for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are available at the Eastlink Centre Box Office, online at www.EastlinkCentrePEI.com, or by phone at 902.629.6625.
