Tulsa Oilers News Release

Right winger Jeff Christian, the Tulsa Oilers leading scorer for the past two seasons, has signed with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Christian is expected to be in the Rockford line-up when the IceHogs play the Lake Erie Monsters tonight in Cleveland.

Rockford, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks, is currently in the fourth and final playoff spot in the AHL's West Division. The IceHogs, who have six games remaining, are only two points out of third place and four points of second place in their division.

Christian, 6-foot-2, 210 pounds from Burlington, Ontario just completed his second straight season as the Oilers leading scorer. In 56 games this past year, he led the Oilers with 27 goals, 49 assists and 76 points. In spite of missing eight games, he still finished tied for seventh in CHL scoring.

Season tickets for the Oilers 2009-10 season in the BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
