
Jacks Get Back Into Series with OT Win

(Laredo, TX) - Jean Bourbeau's off-balance, backhand effort on a rebound beat Sebastien Centomo as the Odessa Jackalopes completed a 4-3 comeback in overtime over Laredo in Game 3 of the Conference Semifinals at the Laredo Entertainment Center on Wednesday night.
It was the first goal of the postseason for Bourbeau. Paul Kelly and Dave Van Drunen added the assists.
The Jackalopes forced overtime by coming back from a 3-1 deficit. Mike Ramsay pulled the Jacks to within one with a goal at 8:40 of period three on a wrist shot between the circles. Jeff Pierce and Ryan Palmer had the assists. Kenny Bernard then tied things up banging home a rebound at 13:17. Ramsay and Kory Karlander tallied the helpers
The Bucks scored the only goal in period two on the power play as Serge Dube made it a 3-1 Laredo lead at 13:46.
Jeff Pierce opened the game's scoring with his first goal of the postseason at 3:07, but Laredo came back with two goals in a :16 span from Matt Miller and Darryl Smith to give the Bucks a 2-1 edge after one period of play.
Sebastien Centomo made 42 saves in net for Laredo. Bucks goaltenders have made 37 or more saves in each game of the series so far.
Game four will take place on Friday night in Laredo. The puck will drop at 7:30 PM and you can hear the action on 97 Gold or online on the CHL Network.
