Christian Concert Kicks off 'All Things Chicago Series'

KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, return home to Smokies Park Sunday for a five-game homestand against the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, for the "All Things Chicago Series." Both teams one their respective divisions in the first-half and are looking to continue their success going into the Southern League playoffs.
Sunday's 5:00 game will kick-off the five-game set and following the game, the Smokies will hold their annual Christian Concert featuring the Sidewalk Prophets and Chris August.
Monday's 7:15 game is all about value with $1 Hot Dog Night and Church Bulletin Night, where fans get $1 off a walk-up ticket purchase (up to four tickets) by bringing in a Sunday church bulletin to the Smokies ticket window. It's also "Movie Monday," with a Smurfs theme.
The 7:15 game Tuesday is all about deals with KRAFT Singles Ticket deal, where fans with a KRAFT Singles wrapper can receive a buy one ticket get one free offer, and Hall's Salvage night, where if you spend $100 at Hall's Salvage you will receive four free bleacher tickets. It's also Pilot Prize Night, where everyone's a winner!
Wednesday's 7:15 game is Food City Family Night, as we offer a buy one-get one free ticket offer with a Slim Jim wrapper or Food City receipt with a Slim Jim purchase. It's also Facebook night, where we will be running specials on the team's Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/TennesseeSmokies).
Kids take center stage Thursday on "All Things Chicago" night! All kids 12-and-under in with paid admission to the 7:15 game get a free hot dog, chips and small Pepsi product. Following the game, they get to run off dinner with a lap around the bases courtesy of Shoney's Family Restaurants. It's also a Pilot Prize night, where everyone's a winner!
