Tulsa, OK - Heavy metal band Down For Five is pleased to announce that the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League have chosen their song, "Let's Go" which was specifically written about and recorded for the Tulsa Oilers, as the team's official theme song for the 2004-2005 season.

Down For Five, whose name reflects the assessment of a five-minute penalty to a hockey player involved in a fight, is comprised of vocalist Syke Mochek, guitarist Janna Kinder, bassist Ken Kinder, and drummer Adrian Alexander. Since the band's inception in the spring of 2002, Down For Five has developed a faithful following of supporters through both its recorded music and live performances and the band's members are just as passionate about the sport of hockey as they are their music.

"The four of us have been huge supporters of the Oilers for years," said Janna Kinder. "We've had a vision for a few years now to do a song specifically for and about the Oilers and we are completely thrilled that team management and staff has lent their support to us and has put their stamp of approval on this song. We think Oiler fans and players will get charged up when they hear it."

Oiler fans can hear the new theme song at the games and the band also plans on shooting a video for the song and releasing the song and video on a CD-Rom that will be sold at Oilers' merchandise counters.
