LAREDO, Texas â The 2004 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks announced today their newly redone website will debut this afternoon by 4 p.m. The website features the same great information fans have come to expect with a dynamic new look. For Laredo Bucks season or single game tickets call (956)-718-BUCKS (2825) or log onto www.laredobucks.com.
"We polled fans last season and talked with them throughout the summer to get ideas," said Bucks President John Beckelhymer. "This new site answers a lot of questions and gives us a dynamic new way to showcase Laredo Bucks hockey. We are really encouraging people to purchase their tickets online."
Bucks fans will immediately notice the different color scheme. In addition fans can now check the Southeast Division standings right on the home page and even purchase their single game tickets right online.
"We wanted to reorganize to make it easier to navigate," Bucks Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Dominey said. "The site has been cleaned up and sorted into to easy to understand categories. Infinity Pro Sports was terrific to work with during the process."
The new website will still allow Bucks fans to easily keep up with the latest news about the defending President's Cup Champions. Once again the Bucks will offer audio and video highlights in additions to other features. Sections to honor past Bucks CHL award winners and franchise records have been set up.
The merchandise link is expected to be up and running soon, allowing fans to quickly and easily purchase Bucks memorabilia.
The website may take awhile to switch on your individual browser.
Training camp for the Bucks opens on Monday, October 11th. The Bucks host an exhibition game at the LEC on October 17th against the Mexican National Ice Hockey Team. Laredo opens the 2004-05 CHL season on the road October 22nd in San Angelo. The Bucks begin the home campaign on October 23rd against the Corpus Christi Rayz.
