
CHL All Stars Rolled by Eagles 8-4

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (January 14)- The Central Hockey League's (CHL) All-Stars showcased their talents Wednesday evening at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, Colorado against the Colorado Eagles, but fell short 8-4, in the league's newest All-Star format.
Brahmas defenseman represented the Texas as a starter on the blueline and recorded three shots on goal for the game. The All-Stars were coached under the direction of Odessa head coach Paul Gillis and Oklahoma City head coach Doug Sauter.
Colorado, led by Konrad Reeder's four goal effort, scored five goals in the final period to end any hope for the All-Stars for a victory. The All-Stars outshot the Eagles 49-31. Reeder (4 G, 1 A) earned the MVP award for the Eagles and Laredo's Darryl Smith (1 G, 1 A) received MVP honors for the All Stars for the game.
Kinnunen will return to the Brahmas for their weekend home stand at the NYTEX Sports Centre beginning Friday evening against the Arizona Sundogs and Saturday against the Laredo Bucks, both slotted for 7:05 PM faceoffs. For ticket information please contact the Brahmas Box Office at (817) 336-4423.
