Club Deportivo Chivas USA News Release

CHICAGO (Friday, Jan. 3, 2013) - Chivas USA midfielder Marco Delgado has been called up to the United States Under-20 Men's National Team for their nine-day domestic training camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. The camp, which began on Friday, will run through Jan. 12.

This marks the team's second camp of the new cycle and first domestic camp. The Florida camp will also feature two intrasquad scrimmages.

The 36-man roster led by Head Coach Tab Ramos includes 28 players with ties to the Development Academy, including 12 players who are currently registered for Academy teams. The sessions coincide with a U-18 Men's National Team camp headed by Javier Perez.

For the Red-and-White Academy product, this is the second time he has been called up to the U-20 squad. Delgado was part of the 10-day international training camp in Italy last November.

Upon the conclusion of the National Team's camp, Delgado will return to Los Angeles to begin preparations to report to Chivas USA's 2014 preseason camp.
