
Chivas USA Begins Three Game Road Swing in New England on Sunday

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, July 17, 2009) - Chivas USA plays its last match of the month, and starts a three-game road swing, this Sunday, July 19, at the New England Revolution. The Red-and-White are currently in third place in MLS with a 8-5-3 record (W-L-T) and 27 points, tied with the LA Galaxy (27 points and two more games), trailing Seattle Sounders FC by one point and the Houston Dynamo by four points, but with one fewer game played than Seattle and Houston. The Revolution are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4-5-5, good for 17 points. Chivas USA will be looking for its first-ever victory at New England, and will be playing the first of three road matches, visiting the Colorado Rapids on Aug. 8 and the New York Red Bulls on Aug. 15 after this match.
