
Chivas De Guadalajara Coming to BBVA Compass Stadium Labor Day

HOUSTON (Friday) - Club Deportivo Guadalajara, better known as 'Chivas', will play a friendly at BBVA Compass Stadium on Sunday, September 4, the stadium today announced. The Houston Dynamo will be the visiting opponent, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
The match, presented by Chuly Sports(logo attached), will also include a Fan Fest area, located on Rusk Street. The Fan Fest will feature food and games, as well as a concert by Hispanic artists Larry Hernandez, Fuego, 24 Horas, Thomas The Latin Boy and other celebrity guests. Entry into Fan Fest and the concert is included with each ticket purchase.
Chivas are one of the most well-known teams of Liga MX, with 11 league titles under their belt. Their roster includes popular Mexican National Team stars Nestor Calderon and captain Carlos Salcido and rising stars in 22-year-old defender Carlos Salcedo and 20-year-old midfielder OrbelÃn Pineda.
Tickets start at just $35, and special packages are available with tickets on the Budweiser Deck, Tecate Light Terrace and Field Seats that include a commemorative match t-shirt. Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 5, and will be available at BBVACompassStadium.com, AXS.com, or the BBVA Compass Stadium Box Office.
