Chinooks off to Winning Start

The first game of your Lakeshore Chinooks inaugural season showed promise for an exciting year! The Chinooks put a tally in the win column last night with a come-from-behind victory in extra innings versus the Green Bay Bullfrogs.
Trailing 0-1 for a majority of the game, a single by Scott Wilcox (Western Kentucky) in the 9th inning scored Forrest Chadwick (U. Southern Maine) to tie up the game and send it into extra innings.
The 11th inning started with Chadwick being issued his second walk of the game and a single by Charlie Markson (Notre Dame). After a sacrifice fly, Wilcox advanced the runners and opened up first base, Sam Koenig (UW-Milwaukee) was intentionally walked, loading the bases for Eric Aguilera (Illinois State). Aguilera was hit by the first pitch thrown to him bringing in the game winning run.
Cody Glenn (LSU) pitched a clean inning in the bottom of the 11th to record the 2-1 win.
