The El Paso Chihuahuas started their seven-game homestand with a 3-2 win over the Las Vegas 51s Thursday night. It was El Paso's 10th consecutive home victory and third win in a row overall.

Francisco Mejia went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for El Paso, while Luis Urias went 3-for-4 also, the third straight game Urias reached base three or more times. Walker Lockett allowed only one run in seven innings and has let in only two runs in his last 14 Triple-A innings.

Thursday marked the 12th consecutive game a Chihuahuas' starting pitcher has allowed three runs or less. El Paso pitching hasn't allowed more than four runs in a game since August 7 versus Round Rock. Six of the Chihuahuas' last nine games have been decided by one run.
