Despite outshooting the Chilliwack Bruins 28-17, the Spokane Chiefs dropped a 3-0 decision on Friday in the Spokane Arena. The game was their first of three games in as many nights, including back-to-back home games. Tomorrow night they will host the Tri-City Americans at 7:00 on Buck Night presented by Red Lion River Inn. The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a pair of CheerStix courtesy of Red Lion River inn.

The Chiefs outshot the Bruins 8-4 in a scoreless first period and Chilliwack broke the scoreless tie at 13:33 of the second with their lone power play opportunity of the night. Jesse Craige's cross ice pass to the right post found Dylen McKinlay for the goal.

Two third period goals, one by Kevin Sundher at 10:20 the other by Ryan Howse at 16:28, finished the scoring for the Bruins who won for the first time in three tries against Spokane this season. The Chiefs had won their previous two match-ups by a combined score of 12-2.
