
Chiefs leading the League in call-ups to AHL

Johnstown, PA (November 9, 2005) - Once again the Johnstown Chiefs are leading the ECHL in player call-ups. To date seven Chiefs players have received the call to the American Hockey League.
Forwards Dennis Packard, Justin Kelly, Adam Henrich, Zbynek Hrdel, along with defenseman Jay Rosehill and goaltender Jonathan Boutin all are currently with the Chiefs AHL affiliate Springfield Falcons. Forward J.B. Bittner was recalled to the Portland Pirates earlier in the season and since has returned to Johnstown.
Packard, 23, was assigned to the Chiefs during training camp and was recalled to the Falcons before the Chiefs season opener at Columbia. Packard has appeared in 8 games for the Falcons scoring a goal and an assist.
Henrich, 21, was scoreless in three games with Johnstown earlier in the season. The 6'4, 230 LBS native on Thornhill, Ontario has two assists in five games with the Falcons.
Hrdel, 20, played in the Chiefs first five games scoring two goals and three points. In three games with Springfield he has one assist.
Rosehill, 20, played in the Chiefs first four games before being recalled on October 29th. In four games with the Falcons he is scoreless with 10 PIM
Bittner, 23, leads the Chiefs in scoring with 2 goals and six points in six games. The Pittsburgh native played one scoreless game for Portland on October 29th.
Boutin, 20, appeared in three games for the Chiefs going 0-2-1 with a 3.29 GAA and a 0.912 save percentage. The St.-Joanchin-de-Sheffo, Quebec native played in one game for the Falcons making 50 saves in their 3-2 shootout loss at Hershey on November 5th.
The 2005-06 season sponsored by First National Bank is in full swing. The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they take on the Trenton Titans at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night the Chiefs host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. Following Saturday's game, the Chiefs will be auctioning off their game worn deset camouflage jerseys that they are wearing for the two home games as part of military weekend with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army.
