
Chiefs Education Fund raises over $16,000 in jersey auction

The Spokane Chiefs dropped a 4-0 decision to the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday night in the Spokane Arena.
The game was a 0-0 deadlock through two periods of play before Seattle scored four in the third period.
Jim Watt made 37 saves on the night, including 17 in the second and 13 in the third.
The game was held on Comcast Jersey off the Back Night where all 23 palyer's game worn jerseys were up for auction to help raise money for the Spokane Chiefs Continuting Education Fund.
In total, over $16,000 was raised on the night.
The Spokane Chiefs will host the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, February 6th on Cold Hard Cash Night presented by Pepsi, KHQ-TV and 98.9 KKZX. A number of fans will have the opportunity to win a share of $1,000 cold hard cash.
