Spokane Chiefs News Release

The Kamloops Blazers scored once in the first and twice in the third and Dustin Butler made 21 saves in a 3-0 shutout over the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday night in the Spokane Arena.

Ivan Rohac scored the first goal of the game at 9:06 of the first as Kamloops outshot Spokane 12-4 through 20 minutes. The opposite was true for the second as the Chiefs held a 12-4 margin in shots, but couldn't take advantage of six minutes in power play time on three different Kamloops' penalties in a 6:19 span.

Tyler Shattock, at 1:28 of the third, and Terrance Delaronde, at 16:28, rounded out the scoring. All three Kamloops goals were even strength.

For the night, Kamloops outshot the Chiefs 28-21.

The Chiefs will play two more home games this weekend when they host the Chilliwack Bruins for the first time ever on Friday and Tri-City on Saturday.

Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
