Spokane Chiefs News Release

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Thursday that they have added forward Braden Plaschewsky to their roster as an Affiliate Player ("AP").

"Given our injury situation up front, we needed to shore up our depth until we get some players back," said General Manager Scott Carter. "Braden has experience in the WHL and we're excited to welcome him to Spokane."

Originally a second-round pick by Saskatoon in the 2017 WHL Draft, Plaschewsky played two seasons with the Blades (2019-21), picking up five assists in 67 career WHL games. He started this season with the Canmore Eagles of the AJHL, with three goals and an assist in 17 games.

Spokane started last weekend without forwards Reed Jacobson (lower body; indefinite) and Bear Hughes (upper body; week-to-week). Grady Lane and Erik Atchison left Friday's game versus Seattle and were unavailable Saturday versus Everett.
