Chicago Rush News Release

March 30, 2004 – The Chicago Rush Arena Football team has partnered with The ARK, an Illinois non-profit organization, to help raise money to support its efforts in the Jewish community.

The ARK's mission is to create a safety net for Chicagoland Jews in need by providing vital human services within a framework of Jewish values and laws, and to build bridges between volunteers and those in need in the community.

As part of the fund-raising effort, the Rush is offering Chicagoland Jewish groups $16 and $24 tickets to the team's April 11 game against the defending ArenaBowl champion Tampa Bay Storm. The Rush then will donate half of every ticket sold through its telephone hotline or special Internet site back to The ARK.

In addition, for the second year in a row, Allstate Arena will allow fans observing Passover – or any other religious dietary laws – to bring their own food into the arena for the game. For security purposes, no cans or bottles will be allowed.

"We realize we are playing a home game during what many of our fans consider one of the holiest times of the year," said Rush senior vice president/general manager. "As an organization, we want to make sure to do everything we can to accommodate our fans during this time of year."

Fans wishing to support The ARK and take advantage of the special Rush offer should call Nick Snyder at (773) 243-3456. Fans who wish to take advantage of the offer via the Internet can visit the Rush Web site, www.chicagorush.com, click on the group ticket banner on the home page and follow the instructions. The sign-in ID is "april11" and the password is "football."

Kickoff for the game is 2 p.m. at Allstate Arena, with the team's indoor FamilyFest starting at noon.
