CHICAGO, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars, behind goals from Ella Stevens and Bianca St-Georges, defeated Racing Louisville FC by a score of 2-1.

KEY MOMENTS:

1' Chicago earn an early corner kick that's taken by Colaprico and finds Stevens for a goal

25' Bianca St-Georges takes a shot that rattles off the post, Colaprico get the rebound and takes a shot of her own that ricochets to an open St-Georges and she puts it away for a goal

56' a dangerous cross makes it behind the Red Stars backline but Sharples recovers and clears the ball

64' The Red Stars defense blocks a barrage of shots from Louisville to stay ahead in the match

Both Ella Stevens and Bianca St-Georges scored their first regular season goals tonight

Red Stars defense put on a gritty effort against the visiting team that out possessed them (61% to 38%) and out shot them (14 to 8) but only allowed one goal in the first half
