
Chicago Fire's Patrick Nyarko Up For MLS Goal of the Week

CHICAGO, IL (August 3, 2009) - Chicago Fire Forward Patrick Nyarko has earned his second MLS Goal of the Week nomination after scoring his fourth goal of the season this past Saturday against Real Salt Lake. Nyarko's goal helped Chicago to win their second consecutive home match and bring their unbeaten streak to five games. Tim Ward crossed the ball to Nyarko in the 76th minute, and Nyarko was able to perfectly position himself past the Real Salt Lake defenders to head the ball in the back of the net and past goalkeeper Nick Rimando.
