
Chicago Fire's Jon Busch Nominated for MLS Save of the Week - Vote Now!

CHICAGO, IL (July 22, 2009) - Jon Busch has earned his second MLS Save of the Week nomination after recording a shutout this past Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes. Busch made a big save for the Fire as he stopped a one-on-one attack from San Jose's Ryan Johnson. He helped the Fire achieve its second win at home since the season opener versus the New York Red Bulls on April 5th.
Busch was also named a member of the 18-man U.S. National Team roster earlier this week, and has been training with the team the past two days in preparation for the U.S. team's advance to the Gold Cup Semi-final match versus Honduras on Thursday, July 23rd at Soldier Field in Chicago.
