
Chicago Fire Loans Forward Elliot Collier to Memphis 901 FC

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that the Club has loaned forward Elliot Collier to USL Championship side Memphis 901 FC. The Fire retains the right to recall Collier at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Collier and Memphis 901 FC will open the 2019 USL Championship season with a home game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at 6:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 9.
A native of Hamilton, New Zealand, Collier, 24, was selected by the Fire in the third round (49thoverall) of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft from Loyola University Chicago. In his rookie season with the Fire in 2018, the striker provided one goal and one assist in 16 regular season appearances (nine starts), while also tallying one goal in the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
