CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC will continue its push for a berth in the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs with two away games in four days this week. On Wednesday, Chicago will travel to face the Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park at 6:30 p.m. CT (WGN-TV, ESPN+, TUDN 1200AM). The pregame show, presented by CIBC, will begin at 6:15 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Three days later, the Fire will face 2020 expansion side Nashville SC at Nissan Stadium at 7:30 p.m. CT. The match will be broadcast live on WGN-TV and ESPN+ and transmitted locally in Spanish TUDN 1200AM. The CIBC pregame show will begin at 7:15 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Wednesday's contest marks the first of three straight games on the road for the Fire. Entering the match, Chicago (5-8-6, 21 points) is unbeaten in three consecutive games and in six of its last seven games dating back to Sept. 23. Following a 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, Chicago currently sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference, tied with 10th place Inter Miami CF (6-11-3, 21 points) but with a game in hand.

The Fire currently hold a 9-10-5 all-time regular season record against the Union, including a 2-7-2 away record. In two matchups last season, each team won their respective home game 2-0. Philadelphia (12-3-5, 41 points) enter the match sitting in first place in the East, having already clinched a playoff berth. The Union recently extended their unbeaten run to five games with a convincing 5-0 home win against Toronto FC on Saturday. The Club is led in scoring by forward Kacper Przybylko who has seven goals in 2020.

Saturday's contest against Nashville SC marks the first-ever regular season match between the two sides, who are both fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Nashville (6-6-7, 25 points) currently sits in eighth place in the East and is unbeaten in its last three games. Prior to hosting the Fire, Nashville will travel to New Jersey on Tuesday to face the Montreal Impact at Red Bull Arena. The Club is led in scoring by three different players with three goals apiece. Nashville's captain, midfielder Dax McCarty, leads the team in assists (four). McCarty served as the Fire's team captain from 2017-19, before joining Nashville in a trade ahead of the 2020 campaign.
