Chicago Fire FC News Release
CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today unveiled the Club's all-new Mobile App, bringing Chicago Fire FC digital content, videos, breaking news and Club resources to the preferred mobile device of Fire fans everywhere. The app is available now for download in the Apple Store and Google Play.
"Providing fans with a first-class mobile app is essential in today's digital environment and is something we identified as a priority during this year of transition for our Club," said Chicago Fire FC Chief Operating Officer John Urban. "We're confident that Fire fans will find this app to be a great hub for digital content and a valuable resource for enhancing their matchday experience, whether from at home or at Soldier Field."
To build and host the mobile app, Chicago Fire FC engaged YinzCam, an industry-leading mobile app and software developer. YinzCam maintains a lengthy roster of high-profile sports properties as clients, developing apps for 24 NFL teams, 21 NBA teams, venues such as Soldier Field and the United Center, and fellow MLS clubs such as the New England Revolution and Toronto FC.
The app features a direct integration with Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner of Chicago Fire FC, allowing fans to easily access, manage and share tickets for home matches at Soldier Field.
Future releases of the app will offer an interactive map of Soldier Field concessions, guest services locations, direct integration with Waze for the latest traffic and routing information, interactive games and additional fan-friendly features.
