
Chicago Fire FC to Continue Road Trip against New York Red Bulls

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC will continue the Club's longest road stretch of the season with a game on Saturday, August 28 against New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. The game will kick off at 5:00 p.m. CT on WGN-TV, CFFC Life and TUDN 1200 AM.
Saturday's match marks the third meeting between Chicago (5-11-5, 20 points) and the Red Bulls (6-9-4, 22 points) this season, with the Fire winning 2-1 in the last encounter on Aug. 8 at Soldier Field. Historically, Chicago is 29-13-20 all-time against the Red Bulls in regular season play. The Red Bulls were supposed to play NYCFC in the New York Derby on Saturday night, but the match was postponed due to an unplayable field following severe weather at Red Bull Arena. In the Red Bulls last played match, the team snapped a seven-game winless streak with a 1-0 win against the Columbus Crew.
