Charlotte Checkers News Release
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced today their plans for working with the Alexander Youth Network during the 2007-08 season.
The Checkers are providing a 'Buddy Night Out' for Alexander's foster care program on Dec. 29 against the South Carolina Stingrays. Season ticket holders are asked to donate unused tickets or participate in our Big Buddy sponsorship program, choosing from a $100, $300 or $500 investment to benefit Alexander's 'Buddy Night Out.' Tickets will provide under-privileged children a night out with their foster families and the Charlotte Checkers.
"I feel very strongly about the mission of the Alexander Youth Network," says Checkers CEO Michael Kahn. "They provide many meaningful services for children who truly need them. For that reason, I am thrilled with this partnership and look forward to seeing it flourish over this and many seasons to come."
