Charlotte Independence News Release
(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) - Charlotte Independence today present the new 2021 season adidas away kit, introducing a fresh update to tradition, while delivering a sustainability-focused design created from recycled polyester.
"We're very fortunate to continue to wear the adidas brand," said Independence President and COO Tim Schuldt. "We appreciate their support, innovation and approach to a greener planet. They never cease to amaze with functional gear, that looks great and now is environmentally conscience."
The away jersey for the upcoming campaign features a prominent light gray design with a white pinstripe pattern. The jersey also offers high-performance benefits with moisture-absorbing AEROREADY, a technology that helps players feel comfortable and ready to play.
"I'm a big fan of the new away kit," said Independence defender Clay Dimick. "I think the design is awesome, and I like how it represents the club and city. I'm looking forward to a lot of wins and memories in this new kit."
While the Jacks will take to the field wearing the jersey with accompanying black shorts and black socks, the 2021 goalkeeper away kit features a bright orange jersey that is complimented with matching orange shorts and socks.
The new kit has now gone on general sale for supporters to buy online.
