CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (8-4) completed a two-game sweep of the Sioux Falls Skyforce (4-6) in a 115-103 victory at the Wolstein Center on Wednesday. The victory improves Cleveland's home record to 5-0 to start the season.
Cleveland was led by Isaiah Mobley's 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 32 minutes. Sharife Cooper scored 25 points and dished six assists in 32 minutes. Nate Hinton scored 23 points with four assists and four steals in 36 minutes. Jamorko Pickett posted his fifth double-double of the season, 18 points and 14 rebounds with two blocks in 40 minutes.
The game's difference came in the second quarter, where the Charge trailed 31-28 to start the period before rolling off a 13-4 run. Cleveland outscored their opponents 42-27 in the second, hitting 71% of their shots from the field and 70% of their three-pointers in the quarter. The Charge also assisted on 13 of their 17 made shots in the second quarter.
The Skyforce's D.J. Stewart led all scorers with 27 points with two steals in 39 minutes. Orlando Robinson had a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds in 26 minutes for the Skyforce. Jon Elmore added 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals in 42 minutes.
