KISSIMMEE, FL - The Cleveland Charge (5-5) defeated the Osceola Magic (5-4), 118-106, on Monday night in the first of a two-game set.
Cleveland had a trio of 20+ point scorers, led by Cavaliers assignment Pete Nance scoring 25 on 9-of-14 shooting and 5-of-9 from three-point range with eight rebounds in 40 minutes. Isaiah Mobley posted a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds in 35 minutes. Sharife Cooper added a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists with four rebounds in 35 minutes. Zhaire Smith added 15 points and two steals, while Malik Fitts scored 17 points and Aleem Ford netted 12 off the bench. The Charge protected the ball for just six turnovers in the game.
The Magic were led by Mac McClung's game-high 27 points with seven rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes. D.J. Wilson scored 25 points with eight rebounds, six assists and four blocks in 36 minutes. The loss snapped a four-game win streak for Osceola.
